During Jasmine’s first consultation with Mother of Hundreds, when asked what words she would use to describe her special day and the flowers that would accompany, she shared words like whimsical, material forward, colorful and gilded. She had pink feathers that were reminiscent of the boas of the gilded-age. This posed a unique challenge for us, as we typically work exclusively with flowers and organic material in their natural state. However, by contextualizing the natural surroundings of her venue, we were able to forage elements to accompany the pink feathers. The end result became something more organic than we ever thought it could be.
